Edward J. Schmitz joined Hantzmon Wiebel in 2005 and was named a partner in 2014. In addition to his more than 20 years of public accounting experience, Ed has more than 10 years of experience in the industry, including nine years as a controller of a manufacturing company.  

Ed enjoys hitting the greens with family and clients. He also keeps our firm active by hosting an annual sports day at his home where team members compete in activities such as volleyball, football, soccer, table tennis, pool, and disc golf. Sports and internal controls are not his only interests; Ed has a musical side as well. He played the guitar for Out of Balance, a band made up of Hantzmon Wiebel team members.
