Charlottesville, VA – August 21, 2018 – Hantzmon Wiebel LLP recently donated two car loads full of back to school supplies to Jack Jouett Middle School, of Albemarle County, and Elk Hill Charlottesville School, a small non-profit school which serves students ages 5-21 with specific learning disabilities, other health impairments, and emotional disturbances on the special education spectrum.

“We had a lot of students who came to open house night and didn’t have school supplies. We will take these binders, fill them with paper and a pack of pencils and give them to the students. It will make a huge difference. We never turn a child down. If they can’t afford the supplies, we provide them. Thank you so much,” says Chastity Clements, Administrative Assistant, Jack Jouett Middle School.

“All of the supplies are getting used! All of the notebooks are already gone. We are just ecstatic. It saved a lot of cost this year,” Margie Collins, Administrative Assistant to Head of School, Elk Hill Charlottesville School.

Hantzmon Wiebel, a local accounting firm, donated more than seven full boxes of three-ring binders, three full cases of paper, with 24 reams in each, and hanging files to the schools in preparation for the school year.

“We’ve been an active member of this community for 90 years. We know that school supplies are very costly and we wanted to have an impact on local students who might not have the supplies they need to start the year off right. It’s something small we can do to have a big impact on our community,” says Jennifer Lehman, CPA, CGMA, CEO, Hantzmon Wiebel.
